KATHERINE
EMMS MSc MCSP

A qualified, chartered physiotherapist dedicated to helping you reach your peak physical performance, Katherine combines the knowledge and experience of an athlete (having completed both marathon runs and swims as well as all three of the London Classics) with the expertise of a qualified physiotherapist and sports massage therapist to provide the highest quality of care and treatment.

 

Katherine studied sports science at Loughborough before completing her Masters degree with a distinction in physiotherapy at Brunel, also qualifying as a sports massage therapist along the way. Katherine is also qualified in acupuncture and dry cupping. She has worked in the NHS for a number of years, with rotations in rehab, acute medicine (A&E) and elderly care and has provided treatment for finishers at the London Marathon as well as other events. Katherine has represented Team England at youth level in athletics and competed for Great Britain in gymnastics.

In her own time, Katherine is a keen sportswoman, regularly running, swimming and undertaking Crossfit-style training. She is a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and is officially registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

  • BSc Sport and Exercise Science - Loughborough University

  • MSc Physiotherapy (Pre-Reg) - Brunel University

  • Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage
